JOBSEEKER TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 These Terms govern Jobseekers’ (“User”, “you”, “your”) access to and use of HiringJet.com (“Platform”), operated by Hiring Jet Recruitment Portal FZCO (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
1.2 By creating an account, uploading a CV, applying to jobs, or browsing the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
1.3 If acting on behalf of someone else, you confirm full legal authorization.
1.4 If you disagree with any part of these Terms, discontinue usage immediately.

2. DEFINITIONS

“Platform” refers to HiringJet.com and all connected services.
“Jobseeker” means an individual searching or applying for opportunities.
“Employer” means any entity posting jobs or reviewing applications.
“User-Generated Content” refers to resumes, profiles, uploads, messages, and documents submitted by Jobseekers.
“Services” include job search, job alerts, resume hosting, employer communication, profile visibility, and future tools.

3. ELIGIBILITY & ACCOUNT CREATION

3.1 Users must be at least 18 or of legal working age in their jurisdiction.
3.2 Jobseekers must provide accurate, truthful, and complete information.
3.3 Multiple accounts per individual are prohibited.
3.4 Users are responsible for password confidentiality and all activities under their account.
3.5 We may suspend accounts appearing fraudulent, misleading, or non-compliant.

4. USER-CONTENT LICENSE

4.1 By uploading resumes, photos, documents, videos, or any content, you grant the Company a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, transferable license to:

  • store, display, reproduce, host, publish, and distribute content
  • share content with Employers
  • use content for search optimization and matching algorithms
  • index content for platform functionalities

4.2 You represent that you own or have rights to all content submitted.
4.3 This license continues even after account deletion (for compliance, audit logs, and dispute resolution).

5. USE OF JOBSEEKER SERVICES

5.1 You may search, apply, upload resumes, and communicate with Employers legally and professionally.
5.2 The Platform does NOT guarantee:

  • interviews
  • shortlisting
  • hiring decisions
  • employer responsiveness

5.3 The Company is NOT part of employer hiring decisions.

6. ANTI-FRAUD & PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

Jobseekers shall NOT:

  • upload fake resumes, forged documents, or false identity details
  • request money from Employers
  • harass, threaten, or misuse Employer contact information
  • apply irresponsibly to irrelevant roles intentionally
  • scrape or extract Employer data
  • create multiple accounts to manipulate visibility
  • upload malware or harmful code

6.1 Violations lead to suspension, blacklisting, and potential reporting to authorities.

7. PLATFORM NOT AN EMPLOYER OR AGENT

7.1 The Company does not act as an employer, recruiter, representative, intermediary, or agent.
7.2 The Company does not verify every job post or employer unless explicitly stated.
7.3 All employment relationships are solely between Jobseeker and Employer.

8. DATA PROTECTION (PDPL + GDPR)

8.1 The Company complies with UAE PDPL, GDPR, and international data protection frameworks.
8.2 By using the Platform, you consent to:

  • your resume being visible to Employers (depending on settings)
  • receiving job recommendations, alerts, and communications
  • Employer contact when you apply

8.3 You may request account deletion or data removal (“Right to Erasure”).
8.4 No system is 100% secure; the Company takes best-practice technical and organizational measures but is not liable for breaches beyond its control.

9. THIRD-PARTY PROCESSORS & CROSS-BORDER TRANSFERS

Your data may be processed by third-party providers including:

  • cloud hosting services
  • analytics tools
  • communication (email/SMS) providers
  • payment gateways (future services)

Data may be transferred internationally (UAE, EU, India, etc.) under GDPR PDPL-compliant mechanisms.

10. PROFILE VISIBILITY & APPLICATION PRIVACY

10.1 Employers may view your profile when:
• you apply to their job
• your profile is set to visible
10.2 Employers must handle your data as independent Data Controllers.
10.3 The Company is NOT responsible for Employer misuse of your data.

11. EMPLOYER CONTENT DISCLAIMER

  • Job postings originate from Employers
  • Company does not guarantee their accuracy, legitimacy, or availability
  • Some fraudulent or misleading postings may occur (though we act on complaints)

Users should independently verify employer details.

12. FRAUD PREVENTION RIGHTS

  • monitor suspicious Jobseeker activity
  • block accounts creating fake CVs or spamming applications
  • report fraud to authorities
  • remove harmful or deceptive content

This protects Employers and maintains platform integrity.

13. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION & TERMINATION

  • false information
  • misuse of employer data
  • harassment or unprofessional conduct
  • cyber violations or scraping
  • breach of PDPL/GDPR

Termination revokes access to all services.

14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • hiring outcomes
  • employer behaviour
  • inaccurate job postings
  • identity misuse by other Users
  • technical disruptions or downtime

Company liability, if any, is limited to USD 100 or minimum statutory requirement.

15. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The Platform is provided “as-is” and “as-available.”
We do not guarantee:
• job availability
• error-free performance
• uninterrupted service
• suitability of Employers
You use the Platform at your own risk.

16. INDEMNITY

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from claims arising due to:
• misuse of Services
• false submissions
• your interactions with Employers
• violations of these Terms
• breach of data protection obligations

17. DATA RETENTION & DELETION

17.1 Your data is retained until account deletion or as required by law.
17.2 Logs retained 6–24 months for security.
17.3 Deleted accounts may be anonymized for analytics.

18. DIGITAL CONSENT & E-SIGNATURE

By clicking “Register”, “Apply Now”, or any button indicating consent, you acknowledge giving a legally binding digital signature.

19. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms are governed by UAE law.
Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of Dubai Courts.
